It would be wonderful to say; "I believe in Your power to create an extraordinary opportunity for me. I am happy to create joy with my blessings. Thanks to You, I am loved, wanted, needed, valued and worthy. Yes, I am worthy. I am worthy of all good things because I'm me."

DADDY, MOMMY, BOOM

Your name was always coming out of the mouths of Pearl Bailey, Mike Douglas, Dizzy, Lena Horne, Miles, Carmen McCrae and other jazz greats. The beat of the background was owned by you. "He's an original. He's the world's greatess drummer. I owe my muscial career to him." Every new drummer was comparing themselves to you. The older drummers were re-evaluating their styles because of you.

Mr. Roach, your approach to the skins was like a warrior. Your execution was similar to a well-schooled tap-dancer. You knew how to play the drums. The beat was considered the "bottom" of a muscial score, you were always a leader.
